What to Expect

Reception

 

     When you first arrive at Mesa Veterinary Hospital for your animal's appointment, you'll be greeted at our front desk by our friendly Client Service Representatives.  They will get your pet checked in, and notify our assistants that you've arrived.

Our assistants will show you to an exam room and help you and your pet settle in.





Mesa Physical Exam

One of our veterinarians will come to see you and your pet in the room, find out how your pet is doing, and perform a physical exam.

 
If your animal is here for an annual exam, our vets will discuss any preventative healthcare measures such as vaccines or labwork that are recommended for your pet, they will also give you advice for keeping your pet healthy such as nutritional supplements, exercise programs, and/or appropriate diets. 

 
Mesa Veterinary Exam

If your animal is sick, our vets will discuss differential diagnoses (different possibilities for what your pet may be sick with), and any necessary tests to help diagnose your pet.  These tests can usually be done the same day with the help of our certified veterinary technicians.  If your pet needs medication, we are able to dispense many of them from our pharmacy.  We will follow-up to see if you have any questions and to see how your pet is doing in the days following your visit.
